Location and Direction
Some believe a school is best located in the countryside, others believe that it should be close to a town. SJGS is both. Surrounded by greenery and protected from urban sprawl, the school’s campus is about 15 minutes’ drive from Kottayam Town Centre and less than 5 minutes’ drive from the Manarcadu Junction and Puthuppally Junction. Access could hardly be simpler or more convenient.
Directions
By Road :
Between Puthuppally – Manarcadu By pass Road, at Thalappady Junction, take the road eastwards for about 150 meters to reach the school campus. Taxis and Auto-rikshaws are available at both Junctions.
By Rail :
Kottayam Railway Station is 8 km away from the school. Taxis and Auto-rikshaws are available at the station. There are regular trains to and from Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram.
By Air :
The Nedumbasserry Air Port is 90 km and Thiruvananthapuram Airport is 160 km from the school.
Visitor Car Parking:
Visitors are requested to park in the Visitors Car Park adjacent to the Main Entrance
